Learning in Action: Understanding Problem-Based and Project-Based Learning

(Source: Unsplash) What is Problem-Based Learning (PBL)? Problem-Based Learning is a teaching approach where students learn by actively working on complex, open-ended, real-life problems . Instead of sitting and listening to a lecture, learners are challenged to ask questions, investigate, collaborate, and find solutions on their own. According to Ali (2019), PBL is a process used to identify problems within a scenario to increase knowledge and understanding. It requires more than one answer or solution — and that's the point.
